The George and John restaurant, a member of the Relais & Chateaux international culinary organization, serves dishes inspired by modern Israel, with broad Mediterranean influences. The restaurant is in the unique Drisco Tel Aviv Hotel, which has restored the historical grandeur of the Jerusalem Hotel, where brothers George and John Drisco opened the first restaurant outside the walls of Jaffa in 1866.

The unique restaurant reopened in 2018 after a decade of complex renovation processes and was voted of one of the 50 best restaurants in the Middle East & North Africa, winning the award of 50 best restaurants three times in a row, in the years 2022-2024, and winning the best restaurant in Israel according to the organization 50 best.

The designed private room of the George and John restaurant is located on the private and exclusive dining floor in a historic space that was once used as the wine and alcohol storage room of the historic Jerusalem Hotel (today known as the Drisco Hotel). In the center of the room is a wide knight’s table and next to it an intimate living room for entertaining, located next to the kitchen of the George and John restaurant.

The private room can host 8 to 24 guests and includes high-quality light and sound equipment, ideal for company events, business meetings, gatherings, family meals, birthdays, workshops, meetings and more. Private events offer the restaurant menu, which can be adjusted according to the nature of the event.
